Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have a new album (their fourteenth) entitled Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!. Yeah, I know, who cares, right? Well, I thought this video was pretty funny. Recommended especially if you're Shane. High quality version here.

I don't get it. is the idea that he looks like pre-shave Shane? do people take that music seriously? that video seems pretty self-parodical (I know, not a real word). also, why did you tag it video game music? speaking of things that actually reminded me of VGM (well, more specifically - tracker based music) have you seen those videos of that Scandinavian guy that stop-motion edits short video snippets of him playing individual notes / sounds into goofy songs? they're stupid popular but the one with piano ends up sounding very tracker-y when it gets really fast towards the end: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hVG_esC-rgA
no, the idea was that I thought it was funny and noteworthy--the song, while not the best song ever, is groovy and it's funny to hear something so poppy coming out of nick cave. also the video is funny with him walking on a treadmill doing these ridiculous faces. video game music was an accident, I thought I just put music. yes I did see that video, but it is very impressive
